Digital Archiving and Information Services

Clients

Digital Archivy’s client projects serve the diverse needs of a variety of institutions including Fortune 500 corporations and privately held companies, a range of non-profit and cultural organizations and foundations, academic institutions, governmental agencies, religious institutions and individuals and families.

We help build digital archives and preservation systems from the ground up. In other words, we help assess needs, identify requirements, and make recommendations related to People, Process and Technology. As a result, we help set strategy and roadmaps to procure and implement systems that serve multiple stakeholders. We also launch digital archive prototypes and develop efficient workflows so clients can see first-hand how to manage systems using resources, rules and standards.

With our experience, training, and knowledge of archival standards and best practice, we create better preservation strategies. Also, we develop project plans with clearly-defined timelines, deliverables, and budgets. And our deliverables help us establish more efficient digital preservation workflows. We have worked on client projects that lasted from two months to three year long commitments. Regardless of budget, we deliver results, and no project is too big or too small.

Additionally, we also provide ongoing archival consulting and research and reference services. This helps ensure our solutions are up-to-date and sustainable and continue to address requirements, and add value. I’ve worked on dozens of client projects. My colleagues and I pride ourselves on our ability to listen closely and identify problems quickly. In addition, we ensure our solutions are effective and efficient, and make appropriate recommendations for a variety of different circumstances.

Client Projects and Clients

The clients with whom I’ve worked represent a wide range of sectors: Fortune 500 corporations and privately-held companies, not-for-profits including foundations, NGOs, and philanthropic organizations, colleges, universities and schoolss, governmental agencies, religious organizations, as well as artists, individuals, and families. Most clients have specific needs, goals, objectives and designated communities. Our challenge and goal is to help them assess their needs accurately and create sensible and effective plans. This helps develop user-centric results based on archival best practice, industry standards and professional experience.

Although clients may work in different industries and spaces, information is the lifeblood.  The needs, goals and priorities help define deliverables and timelines, but users themselves help determine the complexity, effectiveness, benefits, and value.

Many clients thrive on identifying problems and implementing solutions effectively.  Depending on sector, each client faces different and distinct needs.  Practical and customizable solutions depend on situational awareness and professional knowledge.  Our solutions are trusted and our plans are flexible. They can be implemented in phases and customized to deliver maximum benefit.
